About OUR Work

You’ve made it this far. Think about all the steps it took to get you here:

  • Survived birth
  • Manage to make through enough education to read these words
  • Provisioned an interweb enabled device
  • Recognized that you want help
  • Decided to act
  • Searched for some variant of “therapist near me…”
  • Clicked on this website and again to this specific page

You are willing to do hard things. You are adaptable enough to survive. By working with us, you are taking responsibility for your life and actions – getting ready to move forward to what you want.

You have a lot of power here. Let’s use it.

Consultation is about your needs and goals.

Many people show up due to relationship dissatisfaction, life transition, a personal struggle that won’t go away or which they want to explore. They need the tools, skills and feedback from someone who is objective and cares.

People in therapy are often confronted with challenges, opportunities, disappointments, griefs and rewards. Every scary inner demon, past dragon, or future apocalyptic vision can show up in therapy. Luckily, they have their neighborhood friendly therapy-man (or woman or potentially dog) by their side, and you can too.

About Inner Space Psychological Services

Inner Space Psychological Services was founded on a simple idea: helping people live this one life well. We follow through with this by providing a variety of services to help you get into your life.

From our point of view, pain is evidently but suffering (i.e., a constant cycle creating ways to get rid of pain) is optional. We can give you the tools to move toward the good stuff of your life. We offer a small studio with the safety to practice standing up for yourself and a space to fall when we all eventually do.

About Drew Carr

Hello, I’m Drew. I want people to connect with what’s deeply important to them. By most accounts, we have one shot on this rock. I want to have the most of it. I want you to be really there when you connect with the world around you, eat good food, and have incredible relationships.

When I’m not therapizing or psychologizing, I love to be active. I love to hike and swim. I read nerdy books written by people long passed from this world. I also actively research the clinical neurosciences and behavior analysis.

If you want to know a little bit more about me check out this story of why this work is important to me.
