What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a skill. There are no barriers. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your physical ability is, if you’re spiritual or not. It’s a skill all can learn.
All humans have the ability to notice our surroundings, but we rarely do. Mindfulness helps teach us to reduce our tendency to be overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
Mindfulness training helps us pay attention on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally, to the unfolding of experience moment to moment so that you take action to succeed in life and love and master your chosen field.
It presents you with the ability to notice and perceive your thoughts, considerations, and feelings without viewing them under the microscope of good or bad.
Being mindful can help you to appreciate the moments in your life with a fresh perspective instead of just allowing them to pass you by while you are mired dwelling on the past or worrying about what may be coming in the future.
